Passage 9

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

It is all-important to believe all living beings to be forms of God. Sarva jīva namaskāraṃ keśavaṃ pratigacchati.

Why should the word Keśava be used here? Within this itself are contained creation, preservation and dissolution. In Keśava there are Ka, Īśa and Va. When these three come together, it becomes Keśava. Ka means Brahmā, Īśa means Īśvara, Va means Viṣṇu. Keśava means the very form of Brahmā, Īśvara and Viṣṇu. Brahmā means the principle of creation. Our saṅkalpa itself is the Brahmā principle. Īśa means the One who dwells in the heart. So it is our heart that is the Īśvara principle. The principle of Buddhi is itself the Viṣṇu-nature that pervades everywhere. There are glories that are the forms of yantra, mantra and tantra. Our very body is a yantra. In it every limb works in step with every other. So our body is a yantra. Our breath is a mantra. Our heart itself is the tantra. The form of yantra, mantra and tantra is the human form itself, not other forms. We must believe this.

We must do the good deeds that are to be done with this human form. What is Human value? It is Divinity that is the true Human value. We must know such value. This value has not come into us anew. In this body too they arose at that very time and came with it. To suit our needs we push it down. The root cause of it is selfishness itself. When selfishness comes, duality begins. When duality comes, attachment and hatred begin. It is through this attachment and hatred that the disease of worldly existence begins in us. If we are to cure ourselves of these diseases, bhajan is needed.
