In plain words
The Bhāgavatam says that those who rise between four and five, finish their morning duties and bathe take the bath of the ṛṣis. Those who bathe and do their sandhyā between five and six, they said, take the human bath. A bath taken after seven o'clock they called the demon's bath. This Dundubhi used to bathe after seven. That is, he profaned the sacred hour of Brahmamuhūrta. They said that one who misuses time is a Dundubhi.
To profane time by lying wrapped in a rug at the peaceful hour, while the Suprabhātam is being sung, is not right. By profaning time in this way, the rays of our radiance fade away. At first this hour may seem hard to you. But the more you practise it, the more joy it gives us. One who rises late from sleep turns into a sluggard. With this, all these blood cells, working at their keenest, keep on giving us the power of memory. We must give this body the effort it needs. That is why it was said that one who makes effort becomes a ṛṣi. Students, in all your activities, in games, in songs, in studies and in every task, you must without fail make the body strong and sturdy.
Health is the greatest wealth. One without health can achieve nothing. Games came into being for health and for joy, and so did songs; they did not come into being for business. Today games and songs have turned into a business. Students of our Institute, you must take part in these games and songs to bring out your own divine strength, your own radiance and your joy. But today, as you grow older and older, you are drifting away from games and songs to some extent. But in our Institute you must take part in games without fail. Push selfishness and self-interest far away.
