In plain words
In what way does earth appear in our body? Our skin and flesh are formed from earth. How is water present in the body? Urine and blood: these two are watery parts. Then, how is fire present in our body? Fire enters it through these two, thirst and hunger. This fire is present as hunger and thirst. In what form is air present? Air is present in the form of these two, movement and walking. Then space. How is this form called space present? Space has entered us and dwells in us in the form of the six inner enemies, desire, anger, greed, pride and envy. But none of us recognises this secret: our hunger and thirst are the measure of this fire. Urine and blood are the reflection of water. Our skin and muscles are the image of the earth. This movement and walking are the workings of the wind. Our qualities are the portions of space. So these five are contained in our body. We must make these five meaningful. It is to make them meaningful that humanness has been given to us.
The whole universe is filled with Hari
Students! We may doubt and wonder where God is. The whole universe is filled with Hari. Here is a small example of this. All the countries of the world are contained in this map of the world. All the countries are gathered within this world map. In the same way, the whole kingdom called the universe is contained within the world map called Viṣṇu. Now, within this kingdom mountains, rivers, groves and forests all appear as highs and lows. Streams, hillocks, glaciers, rivers of every wonderful kind: none of these highs and lows can be seen on the map. In worldly activity you see highs and lows, but in the form of Viṣṇu these highs and lows are not seen in any way.
