In plain words
Move with divine feelings
Students! MBA students! I hope that especially when all of you go out, you will keep, as far as you can, a divine feeling within you and carry on your work well. The children are good. But in the surroundings out there, you will have to stand up to things to some extent and push your way through. All of you know the boy called Katta Prasad; he came today. By Swami's grace he was given a job in a Birla company. He is conducting himself by Swami's command, Swami's order and Swami's discipline without the least deviation. Within two months the manager, the workers and the members there praised him as a very good boy; that itself gave Me Ānanda. That is the gratitude you must give Me. If you earn a good name with others, that is enough for Me. The officer wrote a letter. He wrote that the boy who had come from such-and-such Institute was best, best: best, five or six times over. They are praying to Swami, saying they will take in as many such good boys as there are. Here in our Karnataka too, on the road at Tumkur, they asked for three to be sent to the Birla factory. I sent them. The sending is My part. But keeping up that honour is your part. As carefully as I am doing it from My side, so carefully must you do it from yours. Here both the negative and the positive must be in the right condition. If you want to pour oil from one tin into another, how study you have to keep! If the tin below, into which it is poured, moves, the oil falls to the ground. If the tin above, which pours, moves, the oil falls to the ground. That is the one unbroken stream: if you practise Swami's ideals as an unbroken stream, you will surely be able to give a high example. A foreign company also asked for two to be sent. In that foreign company too we placed one, Sharma, the son of a professor in Anantapur. Within the coming month they are taking him to America. When people with such good qualities come, who would not have Ānanda? I told him firmly. “My dear! Going to America is no great thing. But I am telling you to go there and bring this Praśānti Nilayam atmosphere into the American atmosphere.”
