In plain words
To the formless One, who has no form at all, who is able to tell a form? To Him who has neither hands nor feet, what grace can anyone picture in the mind? “It is like this, it is like that; it is that form, it is this form”: all such talk is laughable. To Him who holds the splendour of a crore of lights, what form can anyone picture in the mind?
To tell the form of a power that has no form: who is equal to it? Who could ever do it? The Ātma, free of form from the very beginning, has shone out in every quarter, to the ends of space.
Brahman is the form of Prema, Prema through and through; to join Prema with Prema becomes the true observance. So the one who holds Prema in its fullness becomes worthy to attain the One without a second.
Embodiments of the holy Ātma!
You must understand how this name came to be yours. Pavitra. This has come from the Latin word “vir”. Vir means man. In sum, man is this very embodiment of holiness. The Ātma is endowed with divinity. When the Roman land became a Christian land, they held that Jesus had a holy heart, and gave Him a holy name to bear out that meaning.
