In plain words

Where do these Love drops come from? They come … the clouds called Truth. Where do these clouds called Truth come from? They come from the ocean … called grace. So the gaze of God falls on this ocean called grace … , turns it into the clouds called Truth, brings it down as the rain called Prema, and … gives it to the world as the flow called Ānanda. Bliss is the river. Every man says he wants Ānanda. For Ānanda there must be Prema. It is only through this rain called Prema that this river called Ānanda … . For this rain called Prema to fall, there must be the clouds called Satya. For the clouds called Satya to … , there must be the rays called sādhana. They are called the rays of Vijñāna. These … of Vijñāna fall on the water called grace and make it into these clouds called Prema. All these happen only through the sun … . The earth is the sun's Part, a part of it. … is only a tiny part within this earth. So the moon, the earth and the sun are one single, full form.

What is this moon doing for us? The moon brings us coolness, Śānti, and … the influence on the Manas too. ‘Candramā manaso jātaḥ cakṣoḥ sūryo ajāyata’ … the rays in the eye are the very radiance of the sun. The influence of the Manas is the very reflection … of the moon. Reflection, reaction, resound: these three, the sun, the earth and the moon … ; all these three are limbs of the one. When this moon is added, they become seven. Water is the first. The second is air. The third is the earth. The fourth is ākāśa. The fifth is fire, the sixth the sun. The seventh is the moon. God is present in these seven forms.

Then the eighth form, they said, is Śruti. That is, it is the Veda. This is speech, that is, Sarasvatī. Speech that is this Veda is Sarasvatī. In the Gāyatrī mantra: ‘Oṃ bhūrbhuva ssuvaḥ tat saviturvareṇyaṃ bhargodevasya dhīmahi dhiyo yonaḥ pracodayāt.’ Gāyatrī has three names. One is Gāyatrī, the second Sāvitrī, the third Sarasvatī. Wherever Gāyatrī is sung, Gāyatrī is there, staying in that place. Gāyalu means living beings. She goes on protecting living beings. Sāvitrī means life. She goes on nourishing life. It is on this basis that … Sāvitrī saved Satyavān. That is, Sāvitrī protects Satya. Man's speech is Satya. Speech without Satya is lifeless. So the life of a word is Satya; without Satya the word is lifeless. For speech, life is Truth. The life of a fort is its army.
