Passage 15

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

So you must first recognise well the secrets of these, the body, the senses, Manas and Buddhi.

Students! If, within these fifteen days, as the vice chancellor asked, we recognise well the principle of these five, the body, the senses, Manas, Buddhi, and the Ātma that is the witness of them all, we can hold in our hand the world of the five elements. What fills everything everywhere is only the five elements. What moves through this whole land is only the five elements. This whole land is only reflections of the body. So it is most necessary for us to recognise the truth of the object and its reflections. Merely recognising it is not enough. You must understand it well and act on it. You must look on everything as the mystery of God. This is God's own will; students must develop faith bound up with God. Try to offer your citta to God.
