In plain words
This body is an iron safe of no worth, and as jewels are placed inside the safe, so in the body dwells the Ātma, God; know this well. Sai's word is the true path.
God is not to be found in some other land; God is right in one's own body. Sin does not live apart in some foreign country; it clings to the deeds one does.
Embodiments of the divine Ātma!
Though it has no worth and is not lasting, this human body is the dwelling of God who is the Ātma, and so it is the duty of every human being to look after it on the proper path. Nourishing the body is man's chief duty. In a body that has no firmness at all, humanness can fall into many troubles. Human life rests on the foundation called the body. That is why even the people of Rome, who gave rise to modern science, recognised the special worth of this body and took many kinds of care to nourish it. This body is a world of its own, unique in itself. The body is not merely a shape. It is a whole made up of many limbs. Each limb is needed in its own place. It is our duty to look after the beauty of all the limbs. A body that has fallen ill, a body that has grown weak, cannot make a firm resolve. If pure, divine and noble feelings are to spring from a man, the body must be firm and healthy.
People of every religion do accept that the body must be nourished. Though it is impermanent and does not last, the divinity that is Satya and eternal dwells within it, and so we must give this body special care.
