In plain words

If each of you closes his eyes and reflects, you yourselves will understand. To develop something like this, we must also enlarge the heart it needs. A change in the mind is essential. Along with all these changes, political change, economic change, worldly change and social change, and along with change in the mind, spiritual change is essential. Without spiritual change we can achieve nothing at all. 'Kadaladu nīdu saṅkalpamu lēka gaḍḍipōcayun': as it says, you may think, 'We have strength of arm, strength of intellect, strength of body, strength of office.' But all these strengths are like passing clouds. In a moment they pass away. The strength of the Ātma alone is true strength. All other strengths are weaknesses. We must build up the strength of the Ātma. We must build up self-confidence. It is with self-confidence that we must go on achieving every task. Stand by the government as its support, give the government's efforts the right co-operation, and develop the heart to receive, in due order, all the benefits you should receive through the government. But we must bear no hatred at all against governments, saying 'this government' or 'that government'. Such differences come only to those who have a narrow heart. Whoever it may be, a government is a government. When they were in, these; when these were in, those: we must not keep up such differences. Each one's level is his own. But without leaving our own level we must hold to it firmly and set out to achieve. Though Chenna Reddy went through many kinds of suffering from …, it was only by the power of the Bhakti and surrender in him and towards him that he came back to good health. Once again he is governing well. So that we may make right use of him, you must put away, as far as you can, the weakness of your hearts and strive to achieve with faith; you must not go against this at all. We must not set ourselves against any party. All are one. In such a situation, whatever government is in office now, we must strengthen that government and through it make the effort needed to win happiness.

Today a fine bus stand has been opened here for pilgrims. Merely providing facilities is not enough. We must see to the safety of the passengers too. You read in the paper every day: These passengers were robbed in this bus. They go through troubles of this kind. But one must not abuse the government for all of these. The people have their responsibility too.
