Today is ; this religion came into this world before Buddha was born. It originated in the seventh and eighth centuries. His father’s name was Siddharth and mother was Trishali. He was born in the kingdom of Vaisali at Kundali village. At the time of Mahavira’s birth, his father noticed many auspicious signs and felt that his son would become the savior of the world. He also had a firm faith that his son had the qualities that would not only liberate their clan but also the country. Therefore, he brought up his son very lovingly and in the righteous path.
