In plain words

But in spirituality there is no old and new. Pūrṇamadaṃ pūrṇamidaṃ pūrṇāt pūrṇamudacyate. All the growth of science, all the research of science, depends on the Buddhi of man. But all spiritual growth, all this spiritual research, depends on the heart. The heart belongs to right. The head is only responsibility. This head is only a polaroid picture. The heart is just like the negative. If this negative is with us, we can make as many copies as we like, whenever we like. In this, man indeed is the chief; these machines that have been made are not the chief. Those who trust in machines are scientists. Those who trust in mantras are the spiritual. That one is a scientist, this one a saint. The saint believes in fullness. The scientist believes in the semicircle. The full is the full circle. Spirituality. Where it began, there itself it ends. If you wipe out half of this fullness, the semicircle called C remains. That C is Science. It is born at one place and stops at another. In between it sinks into endless doubts. So in this science there is no room to say: this is truth. What is called true today turns untrue tomorrow. But spirituality is true yesterday, true today, true tomorrow; even after a hundred thousand years truth is truth. All this arises from the heart of man. Such humanness he has forgotten today. He is rooting out this humanness completely. Man is bubbling over at the sight of machines, and believes this property to be the chief property. Wealth. Men are more valuable than all the wealth of the world. Man himself is the real wealth.

Today they have created a big computer. When you put to this computer the question, 'It is raining now; how am I to get home?', it gives the answer, 'Hold an umbrella, walk like this, and then you will reach your town.' Did it give this answer itself, or did man adjust it in the right way and set it up? This whole computer is merely like rubbish. Putting their faith in it, they spend crores of rupees. Natural brain. Even for that computer, this brain alone does the work. Without trusting the brain that did the work, we trust the machine. If you put wheat into a flour mill, wheat flour comes out. If you put rice in, rice flour comes out below. That is all a computer is. Whatever we put in, it gives a fitting result.
