Passage 11

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

There is no such thing as complete. This is an endless vow. But for the time we fixed, tomorrow is the last day; what is tapas, really? To carry out one's duties is itself tapas. Today, only because duties are forgotten, it is turning into tamas. So you must keep carrying out this duty called tapas all your life. Your duty itself is the chief sādhana. Your duty itself is the chief tapas. Your duty itself is your chief goal. So I hope that the students, all their lives, will keep in view the duty of doing good to others, regard their own good and the good of others as one, and give an ideal life.
