In plain words
No merit, no sin, no pleasure, no sorrow; no mantra, no holy place, no gift or yajña of mine; I am neither the eating, nor what is eaten, nor the eater: my form is consciousness and Ānanda; I am Śiva, I am Śiva.
As a blind man cannot make out the sun, the ignorant one who has fed his ego cannot know himself; this is the plain truth I am telling.
Embodiments of Prema!
‘Durlabhaṃ mānuṣo janma’: human birth is hard to win. The reason: ‘Mamātma sarva bhūtāntarātma.’ Because God is present as one in all beings, humanness is exceedingly hard to win.
Human life that begins with food must end in Ānanda
Every living being is made up of the five kośas: the annamaya, prāṇamaya, manomaya, vijñānamaya and ānandamaya kośas! But the fourth, Vijñāna, blossoms and shows itself in full measure in man alone. Man is the one being who has recognised this Satya! Beasts, birds and animals have these five kośas too, yet beasts, birds and animals cannot recognise this sacred principle of Vijñāna.
