In plain words
Embodiments of Prema!
Every man in this world lives for his own selfish ends and his own gain; he does not live for the good of others. Man is a being bound up with society, not one bound by narrow feeling. Each one of us must recognise the inner meaning of founding organisations today. These organisations did not come into being to feed self-interest, or to build up one person's name and standing. They did not come into being so that one person could hope to be great in the eyes of others.
For man, the ideal is what matters, not attention
Anyone's name in the world becomes known in two ways. One is to earn a name by doing pure deeds and living for the good of others. The other is to spread one's own name by doing bad deeds. People keep the bad man's name in mind in the world. They hold the good man's name in faith in the world as well. That is, society recognises the good man as a model. To the bad man they give attention. But for man, the ideal is what matters, not attention. In Hindu history, Rāma's name spread through the world. Rāvaṇa's name spread through the world too. In the same way, in the Christian religion too, the name of Jesus spread through the world. Along with it, the name of Judas spread through the world as well. Today, at the mere mention of Rāma's name, a man is honoured.
