In plain words

Was it not because the good Kausalyā's womb was the pearl-oyster that Rāma became God and shone in splendour? Was it not because Sītā, great in her virtue, raised them with joy that the twins Kuśa and Lava became great? Was it not because Jijiyā, jewel among women, raised him with joy that the hero Śivājī won his name? Was it not because Putlibai raised him with delight that Gandhi became a Mahātmā and won glory? Was it not because the good Īśvarāmbā held Him up and raised Him that Satyanārāyaṇa won the fame of the whole world? So has the whole host of living beings come to flower. Than the mother who guards us day after day, is there anyone on earth more loving! The first letter of Amma is the very first of all letters.

Embodiments of Prema!

A character of Satya is itself man's hard tapas. Man himself cannot recognise the divinity that lies within humanness. Unable to recognise that morality is greater than race and character greater than caste, man leans on race and caste alone and makes his birth meaningless. The ancient Vedic ṛṣis regarded human life as a feeling of sweetness. To guard this sacred sweetness of feeling is man's chief duty.
