On one occasion, spurned away the treasure that the king had sent to him saying that he would prefer the proximity of the Lord to the enjoyment of wealth. He declared that he desired ‘’ (Lord), not ‘’ (wealth). Since he yearned for ‘’ he found fulfilment in life by acquiring all that he yearned for.
