Passage 6

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

So the atmosphere must be made pure. How will it become pure? By the Name of God these waves become one. The water we take is impure. The food we eat is pollution. The air is pollution. Life itself has become pollution. All this must be made pure today. How is it to be done? It must be done by the Name of God alone. Apart from the Name of God, nothing else has the strength and power to make things pure. One day or another, whatever we have earned has to be left behind! No one here is going to stay for ever. In this impermanent principle we must sow the seed that is permanent. That is the Name of God. You must proclaim that Name well, all over the world. Rather than waste time talking of this one and that one, make your time worthwhile with the Name of God. The first thing we must learn is to kill our Ahaṅkāra. You must root out envy completely. You must keep show suppressed. Only then will Ānanda arise from us. With this Ānanda you must think on the Name of God.
