In plain words
Today the man of Bhārata is losing these sacred aims, these sacred feelings, this sacred wealth. The people of Bhārata stretch out their necks after merely physical, worldly, material desires. As long as the blood flows clean in the body, so long the body stays healthy. In the same way, as long as the thought of God stays in the inner self of the people of Bhārata, so long it goes on giving Ānanda. Ānanda is not something set apart. The day man develops divine feelings, noble feelings and new feelings in the depths of his heart, that very day his Ānanda settles in his heart.
When you fill the heart with Prema, every resolve is full of Prema
Every resolve springs from the heart itself. So only when you fill the heart with Prema will every resolve and every act be full of Prema. So what the people of Bhārata must fill themselves with today is Prema! Every karma done from the place of the heart becomes full of Prema. Today we must make a fitting effort to nourish these ways of culture that have come down from our ancient times. The Name has no rules at all. Differences of birth, creed and caste do not apply to it in the least. There is no limit of age of any kind. It holds no partiality for one language. That being so, the Name of God is the boat for all to cross over. It is by such contemplation of the Name that Bhārata has been protected since ancient times. The great and good wealth that is in Bhārata is not to be seen in any other country. One William Victor was a foremost researcher into nature. What did he say? For all this Jñāna, all Vijñāna, all Sujñāna, and all science too, there is one single basis. That is the supreme Satya. The land that brought forth such Satya is the land of Bharata. As the saying goes, ‘There is no Dharma higher than Satya’: it is Satya that is the root and ground of all Dharmas. So Satya is God. Satyanārāyaṇa is God. We must not forget such Satya.
