In plain words
May all indeed be happy, may all be free from illness, may all see what is good, may no one come to sorrow.
Embodiments of Prema!
That the whole world should live in happiness, in comfort, as an example and in joy: this is the chief principle of the culture of Bhārata. Bhārata is the home where spirituality, giving and Dharma were born. It is the home that Śānti and Ahiṃsā married into. The vow of Satya that is in Bhārata is not to be seen in any other country. This soil is the birthplace of the seven ṛṣis. It is the place where Vālmīki, the first poet, and Vyāsa, who divided the Veda, were born. The kingdom that Rāma ruled is this Bhārata. The field of Dharma in the Gītā that Kṛṣṇa taught is this Bhārata. The holy land where the Buddha walked is this land of Bhārata. The place that cradled many Avatāras is this land of Bhārata. The people of Bhārata themselves cannot recognise so sacred a principle of Bhārata.
Giving and Dharma are the wealth of the people of Bhārata
A hand that does not give, a person of Bhārata without Bhakti and surrender, are not to be found in this world. This is the wealth of this land of Bhārata, never running short from generation to generation! Giving and Dharma are the wealth of the people of Bhārata. For even the smallest matter, the people of Bhārata held prayer to God to come first, and practised it. The boys and girls are the heirs to this wealth. The boys and girls of today must make a fitting effort to keep this sacred wealth standing. From time without beginning, this Bhārata, with its spiritual riches, has been bringing lasting peace and security to every country. Then as now, ‘May all the worlds be happy’ has been the aim of the people of Bhārata.
