Passage 5

In plain words

So they have shown this body in the form of yantra, mantra and tantra. The body itself is a yantra. Our breath is a mantra, and the heart is the tantra. What is it, this mantra called the breath? It is ‘Soham’. This breath keeps repeating the mantra ‘Soham’. This tantra called the heart teaches about Prakṛti on the right path. To bring it forth, the yantra called the body is essential. If even a small part in this yantra is not right, the yantra is of no use. We are sending a rocket to the moon. In a rocket bound for the moon, every little screw, every pin, whatever it is, must be in proper order. If even one small pin is not right, it falls down and is burnt to ashes, that rocket. So all of man's senses must be pure, in the proper way. Only then is there a chance for this humanness to turn into Divinity. What is the right path for this? Whatever karmas you do, they bear fruit only when you hold the noble feeling ‘I am doing this to please God’. You need not give up your work. You need not stop your occupations. You need not leave your jobs. Do every karma. But you must picture in your heart the feeling that all karma is to please God.

As the breath is vital to the body, so faith is vital to spirituality

Embodiments of Prema! For anything at all, faith is very important. Without faith we can accomplish no task. What matters most for man is faith. As the breath is vital to the body, so faith is vital to spirituality. What goes on today is Bhakti without faith, life without breath. Speaking of control of the senses, they said: ‘An ox that will not come under the yoke, a horse without reins, a car without brakes, a life without control of the senses: all are useless.’ For this you must take up the right resolve. For everything, remembering the Name comes first. Without it, the boat called life cannot cross over. The Name is the great boat for life. You can keep a boat in the sea and travel for any length of time.
