At first, the sky, sound, air, water and earth were without any combination. Later, they combined with each other. This combination of elements gave rise to various living forms. There are many ways in which the subtle and gross elements undergo change. Water is a fluid but it undergoes change when its density and weight increases. In , water freezes due to cold and becomes solid ice. When you break a block of ice, heat is released. Similarly, materials undergo change due to the effect of heat. Hence, properties of elements undergo change due to heat and cold and due to their combination with each other. The evolution of elements can be understood when we systematically undertake the study of botany and chemistry.
