In plain words
All those weapons he went on offering to Śrī Rāmacandra. This happened many thousands of years ago. The people of Bhārata are not backward in science. What the people of Bhārata searched out, achieved and left behind, foreigners everywhere are relying on today. Not only this. There are some other, ordinary things. The aeroplane. In America the Wright Brothers discovered it in the year 1903. But in 1896 the Germans discovered it. Who was the person who discovered it? Lilita. He discovered it. But in the end he fell down and died. In 1895 our people of Bhārata were the first to discover it. There was one Shivrao Bapuji Talpade, living in Bombay. He went 1,500 feet up. The Maharaja of Baroda of that time, one Mahadev Govind Rana, gave him fitting help in many ways. The people of Bhārata discovered it in 1895 itself. This flying machine. Not only this: the whole of mathematics came from Bhārata. When you enquire in this way and look, Bhārata alone leads in everything. But unfortunately, because there was no unity in Bhārata and because envy grew, they could not spread the teaching of it in every way. Then in the science of medicine the sage Bhāradvāja laboured. Through the learning of weapons he made the researches of this science. That is to say, all of today's operations Bhāradvāja discovered in those days themselves. Then for the world there must be a Dharma. "Dharmo rakṣati rakṣitaḥ": that is what protects the world. This science of Dharma the emperor Manu discovered. The science of logic Gautama discovered. The science of wealth Cāṇakya discovered. All these branches of learning arose from Bhārata. Today students, unable to recognise the power and ability of so sacred a Bhārata, are coming to depend on foreigners. All the powers, all the powers of mantra, yantra and tantra, came out of Bhārata itself.
Not only this. Among women, Sāvitrī won back her husband who had died. Her power and ability were very great. Sumati stopped the sun from rising to keep her husband from dying. Such great powers have been shining in women and men in Bhārata from those days to these. One cannot say that the culture of Bhārata is like this or like that. It is like a boundless ocean. However many pump sets you pump this ocean with, it will not go down by a single
inch.
