You have to enquire into this principle of love in a number of ways. True love is related to the inner Self, whereas worldly love is related to body, mind and intellect. Due to union and separation, this worldly love causes happiness and sorrow. Even if it is love for God, it causes sorrow to you when you feel separation from Him. But when you develop Atmic love, you will not feel grief even in separation.
