In plain words
Because there are such paṇḍitas, the burden on our Subrahmaṇya Shetty has been growing a good deal lighter. This morning it was a most joyful sight. It looked like being in some Vaikuṇṭha or some heaven. Everyone sat in silence, each on his own, and went on doing pūjā. The paṇḍita went on giving the meaning of every word. Today it is very hard to find people who explain the meaning like this, teach it and bring it down into practice. Our Bhārata has fallen into this very plight from the beginning. No one gives a thought to the welfare of society. They carry on doing their own duty. But this paṇḍita gives the meaning of every word so that it touches the heart, and leads the pūjā beautifully. Because there are men like this, the disciples too are the same. ‘Yadbhāvaṃ tadbhavati.’ As the hero is, so the play becomes.
‘To go back to where it was born is the nature of every living being’
Now, all of you know Dr. Gadia. His grandfather was Kākā Dīkṣit at Shirdi. He never saw him, but I did. That family came to have a tie with this Avatāra too. Later, Kākā Dīkṣit's son lived for 30 years in Brindavan with his wife. He brought the diary Kākā Dīkṣit had written and showed it. ‘My dear son! You will come to Bābā. Whatever hardships come, do not leave that place,’ he had written in the diary. Dr. Gadia came at just that time. Then I Myself sent him off to Manipal, telling him to study medicine. Seen in this way, everyone has a tie with Swami in every birth. Without such a tie it would not be possible at all for you all to come here. You do not know it; I know. This is the saṃskāra that comes down from birth after birth! From time without beginning all have a tie with the Ātma! We must never give up this tie with the Ātma. You must go back to the place you came from and reach it.
