In plain words
‘Not knowing the Swami in front of him, in the crystal liṅga.’ This is great Ajñāna. This itself is delusion. Each and every thing is reflection of the inner being. It keeps mirroring the reaction, reflection, resound within oneself. In this world there is nothing bad anywhere. All is good! Why? All is God's creation! Why would God create what is bad? The fault lies in the vision, not in the creation. God's creation is all sacred, eternal, true, stainless and selfless! That is why they said, ‘Nirguṇaṃ nirañjanaṃ sanātanaṃ niketanaṃ nitya śuddha buddha mukta nirmala svarūpiṇaṃ.’
The One with Inward Vision Is the Ṛṣi
The Manas itself decides good and bad! The Controller of all things dwells in our heart. We remain unable to recognise this. This Manas shows the negative one minute and the positive the next. One minute it shows good, another minute it shows bad. Good and bad are what the Manas shows; they are not in man. Man is pure, stainless, unwavering! But this Manas enters and brings about many kinds of good and bad. As far as possible we must strive to keep the Manas under control. They said that those who brought the Manas under control are ṛṣis. Today people let the Manas run loose and reap many kinds of results. He who sees the outer scene is equal to a beast. That he does not see the divine principle is a great wonder. All the scientists of today have only outward vision! The one with outward vision is the scientist. The one with inward vision is the ṛṣi. See what a difference there is between this ṛṣi and the scientist! The mantra is within; the yantra is outside. In the yantra we have no Śānti. In the mantra lies Śānti. Man today builds many rest houses in this world. But houses of Śānti are nowhere to be seen. What use is this rest that has no Śānti?
