In plain words
Such a heart is the dwelling of God. So a man who wants to search for God must search in his own heart. But outward worship, bhajans and vratas, all these, bring Śānti to the mind. As long as man has Manas, these great divine teachings are not understood at all. We must turn Manas towards Mādhava. It is hard for us to recognise the principle of God. So we must recognise the mother and give her fitting honour. Only the one who has honoured the mother gains Śānti in life. It is the duty of every woman and man to develop such holy feelings in themselves, to honour the mother before all, and to recognise her wish and act by it.
Thinking of God is the chief path to man's rise
The man of today does not honour his parents at all. They look on them as mere servants and mock them. By doing so man falls into many troubles and losses. God first appears in the form of the mother. The chief purpose of today's Ladies' Day is to make an effort to honour such holy mothers, to see such mothers, to fulfil to some extent the wish of such mothers, and to rejoice. Only when you are good women will good children grow, and they in turn will spread your fame and standing across the world. Thinking of God is the chief path to man's rise. The royal road of life, the path of flowers, is thinking of God! Unfortunately, because the times have changed and through the force of circumstances, man today is forgetting God. There is no other Prema in this world that surpasses the Prema of God. Today he has forgotten such Prema. Today he puts his faith in a worldly Prema that is passing and gone in a moment. For human life there is no other value that surpasses this.
