In plain words
Win a Good Name, and Bring a Good Name to Your Parents and to Your Educational Institutions Too!
Students! This is a great opportunity for you. You must believe this to be a sacred day. Good teachings must enter your heart. Good paths must enter your life. You must aspire to a good name. That one thing is all I ask! Win a good name! Bring a good name to father and mother! Bring a good name to the Institution you studied in! Doing evil is no greatness. Even an insect can do harm. Doing harm is not humanness. You need not fear anything. Fear Satya alone! You are not a beast, to be afraid of other things. You are not a wild animal, to frighten others. You are a human being. You must not fear; you must not frighten. Only when you recognise this truth and act on it will society too be set right.
Students! It is not a matter of you alone prospering: you will have many friends, many companions. Hoping that you will try to lead them too onto this sacred path and make them blessed, and blessing you, I bring My talk to a close.
