In plain words
‘Sarvaṃ viṣṇumayaṃ jagat.’ The whole world is the form of God! In every atom, in every particle, is the form of God! You must recognise this truth. Even if he is your enemy it does not matter, but you must surely love him. His heart will surely change. Love even the one who has done you harm. His mind itself will surely change! Do not change your own mind. For the heart is the chief dwelling of Prema. Nothing can enter it. When we call God, some doubts arise. ‘Will He come or not! Will He give darśan or not! Will I attain Him or not!’ Things like that. Even someone like Rādhā began to have some doubts. She tried to lie down in a room. In her mind a thought arose. Would someone come? ‘The thought that she was about to shut it.’ That impulse is urging her, ‘Shut the door.’ The thought that says ‘Shut it’ is a worry born of attachment to the body! Then again, attachment to the Ātma. Kṛṣṇa is already inside. ‘A call that says, open it’: between these two, Rādhā somehow felt like laughing’. ‘What a fool I am! Is it these doors that protect me?’ she thought. In the end she reflected by herself and laughed to herself. ‘Rādhā somehow felt like laughing. ‘When the whole universe is the temple of the Lord of her life, where is a street door?’ The whole universe is God's temple! Why then a door! ‘Plucking the strings of the vīṇā, planting the strings of life’: what are the strings of the vīṇā? They are the strings that are the foundation, called recaka, pūraka and kumbhaka. ‘Planting the strings of life’: prāṇa, apāna, vyāna, udāna and samāna, these are the five prāṇas. ‘Tears of Ānanda making the offering of the self.’ That itself is the street door, you see! That is the main gateway. Holy poets have gone on describing such a scene in their poetry with its inner meanings in view. But today people rely merely on the physical. In the same way, every word Mīrā said has an inner meaning. ‘Chalo re man, Gaṅgā Yamunā tīr’ means the place between the brows, where the nāḍīs called Gaṅgā and Yamunā, Iḍā and Piṅgaḷā, meet. There your Kṛṣṇa is. O mind! Do not book a railway ticket to go to Prayāga. You need not go anywhere.
