Passage 5

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

He who has morality and integrity is an avadhūta; he who has them not is a yamadūta.

Embodiments of Prema! Today you are celebrating Buddha Pūrṇimā. You must know what pūrṇimā really means. “Candramā manaso jātaḥ”: our mind itself is the moon. The day this is filled with Prema in its fullness: that is pūrṇimā. If you fill the mind with darkness and celebrate pūrṇimā outwardly, there is no use in it. It is pūrṇimā in name; in experience it is darkness. First of all you must drive away the darkness of worldly feelings and light in the heart the flame of divinity. The planets that seize and torment man today are only two. They are attachment and hatred. They are what lead man astray. To be rid of them, you must grow Prema.
