In plain words

Because you must try to put into practice the studies you study, the things you have heard, Swami's teachings. You must go to the villages, teach them divinity, and go on bringing it to them in fitting practice. You must practise it and then teach them. That is true service. Service to the village is service to the Paramātma. You must go into every village and help those who have no support. Regard the service of the village as the service of Rāma. Rāma and the village are not different. Rāma is the form of one individual. Rather than the form of the individual, worship the form of the whole. How great that will be! Rather than worshipping a single Rāma, when you worship so many forms of Rāma, how much joy will come? One must tell the students a good way. God is the undivided form. God is the infinite form; if one takes so infinite a God to be so narrow a form and worships Him so, it is as good as bringing a stain on God. To put God in a three-inch frame and worship Him: tell Me, how narrow that is! God is the infinite form; this whole universe is His form. When you think of Him in that way, you become a true devotee. What use is it to put so infinite a One in your pocket, so small? That is not what matters. The infinite One must be worshipped in His infinite form. Whoever you meet, do namaskāra, or say Om, say Rām. Do not do even namaskāra with Ahaṅkāra. This too is an aham-kāra. We must kill Ahaṅkāra. Say Rām, Om. People talk on the phone. They say ‘Hello’; some others say ‘I love’; you must not bring in such crazy words. Keep uttering the name of God. Let anyone think anything; what loss comes merely because they think so? You must see that you bring no loss on what is yours. Develop your own self confidence. That is your true safety. That is worthiness. Many young men have come from Hyderabad and Vizag. They are each doing service to a village. They too must kill Ahaṅkāra and enter the village with humility and obedience. They must not say they have come for village service. It is my duty. ‘My village’: you must regard it as your own and serve.
