In plain words
He went on chanting the Name. The well’s water welled up and flowed over, and Nāmadeva’s thirst was quenched. The true devotee must draw God to himself; the devotee need not go to God. That very Prema draws one who is filled with great Prema. The whole world is magnet power. Everything is magnet power. You see a flower. You long to have it. That too is magnet power. To a wife, the husband is magnet power. To a husband, the wife is magnet power. To a child, the mother is magnet power. The mother is magnet power to the child. A bee enters a flower. For that bee to enter it, the honey in the flower is the magnet. In everything there is a kind of magnetic power. This magnet draws all of us. In this power that draws, God Himself is one great magnet. There is no power greater than this power. So the Gopīs of those days prayed in just this way. Kṛṣṇa! You may take any form You like. But we shall not stand in the way of Your saṅkalpa.
If You bloom in beauty as flowers, I shall hover round You as a bee; if You are the great ocean, becoming a river I shall merge into You; if You are Mount Meru, spreading out I shall flow as a mountain stream.
O Kṛṣṇa! If You are born as a flower, I must be born as a bee and come and enter You. If You are born as the ocean, I must come like a river and merge in You. This is the magnetic pull between the devotee and God. To merge in God, one may take any number of forms. God takes many forms. As time and occasion require, He enters into every form. One cannot say He is here and not there. All forms are His. All names are His. We can neither say no to anyone nor say yes to anyone. He is present in all forms.
