In plain words
Wherever one goes, God Himself keeps protecting. There is one easy way, only one, to attain such a God. Go close to God; offer to Him. Melt away in His Prema. Let your life melt away, let your span of years melt away. There is no need to worry at all. But the man of today, through petty desires and boundless hopes, toils for what he has not got and wears himself out in many ways, yet he makes no effort at all to recognise God's power and capability. We must first of all recognise this very principle of loving. Sanjay Sahani and Ruchir, who spoke earlier, taught well about this principle of Prema. This Prema, the very form of God, is Bhakti itself. In this Prema there is no selfishness at all. In loves bound up with the world there may be some little selfishness. But in the Prema God gives there is not the least selfishness. But people try to see this too as selfish, like themselves. What is the reason? This world is like a big mirror. Whatever thing is placed before the mirror appears in the mirror. Their selfishness appears in this mirror. But the principle of Prema that is God is not this mirror. It is Prema itself. Prema itself is seen, but no reflection appears. In the reflection there is hatred. That is not the right truth. Show your right hand in the mirror. In the mirror it looks like a left hand. Is this the truth? No, no. In the mirror called Prakṛti everything is reversed. Only in Prema free of self-interest is it possible to recognise the form of Satya. In the same way, God, who has no desires, also asks for some things. The reason is only to make that person fulfilled. To make all that person's actions sacred. To make that person's life complete. To make that person's full sixteen offerings of worship worthwhile. Many of you know this. You must try to recognise the spiritual in such matters.
