In plain words
So you must try to keep the mind away as far as possible. Today we are passing our life taking the mind as the centre. We should never take the mind as the centre. Mind is a mad monkey, body is like a water bubble. Don’t follow the body, don’t follow the mind, follow the conscience. That alone is your goal; that alone is your Ātma principle. Keep safe that which is called conscience.
Four F's
I tell our children now and then. Four ‘F’s. Follow the Master, Face the devil, Fight to the end, Finish the game. Who is your master? Not some guru or other. Your conscience itself is your guru. Follow your conscience. You must complete the game called life. With such clever tricks, giving up many kinds of easy paths and entering a hard path, they suffer nothing but troubles in every way. Trouble in the body, trouble at home, trouble in the street; wherever you look, it is trouble. Man today cannot recognise what happiness and Śānti are. They laugh as if they were happy, but all that is laughing artificially and pretending; it does not come from within. They pretend to be in Ānanda, but where is Ānanda? He makes a show of living in Śānti, but there is no Śānti there. Life has turned into artificial life. ‘No Heart’. only art. How long can this life be carried on? So put art away. Follow the heart. That is the true Ātma principle.
To grow Prema is the way to sāyujya
Follow what your heart tells you. That is your conscience. Follow your conscience. If you follow this conscience, you will enter consciousness. Those who have entered this consciousness of ours have no sorrows. This conscience is confined within a body.
