Passage 12

In plain words

Consciousness pervades everywhere. Within that air which pervades everywhere, this air gathered inside the balloon called the body, when this balloon bursts, merges in that air which was everywhere. So we have blown it up. There is no chance for it to merge again in this vast air, in consciousness. ‘In what way must this merge in such a vast consciousness?’ he is inquiring. ‘My dear! This is a very easy path. Just as you blew air into the balloon, in that same way keep blowing and blowing around it. Little by little this balloon swells. The swollen balloon bursts all at once with a pop. Then this air, bound within limits, becomes one with the vast air. That has been called ‘sāyujya’. What does sāyujya mean? For this separate air to become one within the vast air that is everywhere: that is sāyujya. Whether it is this sāyujya, or Mokṣa, or what is called liberation, it is a very easy path; but because they do not know the matter, they fall into many hardships.

By Prema alone we can put away all hardships. So we must grow this Prema with our whole heart. We must fill our heart with Prema alone.

Start the day with love, Fill the day with love, Spend the day with love, End the day with love, This is the way to GOD.

When one practises such resolves as a sādhana, through this resolve one attains liberation. So the easy path for everything is Prema alone. Use this very Prema in your speech. We have sugar. What is the taste of this sugar?
