In plain words
That itself is the divine goal. This is the very divinity within humanness. Though so long a time has passed since man was born as man, though many years, many hundreds of thousands of years have passed, man has still not recognised man. How can man, who cannot recognise himself, recognise God? So first of all we must recognise humanness. Only then does divinity reveal itself. So, to recognise humanness first, we must develop the feelings of human beings. What are the human qualities?
That itself is Satya. This is what the Veda has said. ‘Satyaṃ vada, dharmaṃ cara’: speak Satya alone; but unfortunately what has happened today is satyaṃ vadha: they are killing it. No one at all is trying to speak Satya. Then, ‘dharmaṃ cara’: ‘Practise Dharma,’ he said. But today they have put Dharma in prison. ‘Prema’: Prema is narrow. ‘Śānti’: Śānti too remains narrow. Only when Satya, Dharma, Śānti and Prema all come together in oneness do we receive light.
Embodiments of Prema! There is light here. What is the root cause of this light? The bulb. What is the root cause of this bulb? The wire; what is the root cause of the wire? The current; when this current comes through the wire and reaches the bulb, we get light. So Satya itself is the current; Dharma itself the wire; Śānti itself the bulb; Prema itself the light. So when we want to have this light called Prema, we must keep the bulb called Śānti in good order. Even if this bulb is in good order, if the wire is not right, the current will not flow in it.
Body, mind and speech must become one
In ancient times, before taking food: ‘Annaṃ brahma, rasovai viṣṇuḥ.’ Then, matter itself is its whole principle. Energy itself is Īśvara. Having prayed in this way, they would eat.
