Passage 15

In plain words

Those are the very sādhanas we must do. We must give up what is bad. We must grow our bond with what is good. We must live doing only good, always. ‘Smaranitya manityatāṃ’. We must inquire into what is eternal and what is transient. This body is transient, this Prakṛti is transient too, feelings are transient too, and all the sights the eye sees, every one of them, are transient as well. But what is eternal Satya is the Ātma principle alone. To take refuge in that is what they called Śaraṇāgati. So, growing the feeling of the Ātma, we must make our life fruitful through constant contemplation of the Ātma alone. When we do sādhanas of this kind, God stays right with us, right beside us, in our very home, before our very eyes, and protects us in every way.
