In plain words
Unseen in the world that is seen, the consciousness that shines within it is the form of the Ātma; just like the thread running through the gems, the Lord of the universe pervades the whole universe.
Embodiments of Prema!
“Mamaivāṃśo jīvaloke jīvabhūtassanātanaḥ”: all are nothing but a part of Me. With these words the Bhagavad Gītā has been holding out a fine ideal to the world. Yet many, sādhakas too, do not recognise this truth and do not believe it, and they pray to God with many troubles, many sorrows, many worries. Truly, for those who believe the teaching “mamaivāṃśo jīvaloke jīvabhūta ssanātanaḥ”, where are troubles? God has no sorrow, has He? God has no worry, has He? Then, when that very part is in you, why this sorrow for you? Why this worry for you? So, when the very part of God is in you yourself, there is no cause for you to grieve. Yet this part is in all beings. But not recognising Satya, believing in Prakṛti, which is Asatya, and forgetting their divinity, they worry like mere animals, calling it sorrow, trouble, hardship. This animal nature or this fickleness has covered his heart, but the part of God has truly not spread through his heart. What use, then, is reading the Bhagavad Gītā? A man who cannot believe in the things of God, a man who cannot put them into practice: what use is it if he reads any number of books?
Once Arjuna too prayed in just this way. “Kṛṣṇa! I remember You all the time, do I not? Why then all these problems for me? Why this thing called war for me?
