First of all, the passport and visa are within us ourselves. Export and import are right within us. What is export? It is just the pure feelings that spring from our heart. And import: you must take in all the good from outside. That you must import. This you must export. No passport, no visas are needed. What passport do you need to teach others the good that is in you? That itself is our export. We must recognise the truth that everything is within us ourselves, and act on it. You need not strain after anyone. You need not strain even after God. “Mamaivāṃśo jīvaloke jīvabhūtassanātanaḥ”: that is, all are only embodiments of a part of God. All the qualities of God are in you. All the powers of God are in you. If those very powers were not there, how could you be studying? However hard the subject, you get good marks. Did that power come from outside? It came from within you alone. Everything is with in you. You think the things you see outside are outside. No, no. They came from you alone. Reflection of the innerbeing: only what is in you is what you see. They are not things that came in from outside.
Śānti and Prema Are in You Alone
Embodiments of Prema! All Prema is in you yourselves. All peace is in you yourselves. You are the embodiment of peace. You are the embodiment of truth. You are the embodiment of love. You are the embodiment of Righteousness. You are the embodiment of God. Believe in that truth. When you lead your life with that faith, no obstacles of any other kind will come. Life is love, enjoy it. Life is challenge, meet it. Only when we skill knowledge does the balance stay even. Today the balance has gone out of children. The very capacity to balance pleasure and pain, both, has gone. What is the reason? From skill they take away the s and kill. We must not kill knowledge. We must skill it. Then balance comes well. When the balance is right, insight springs up in you.
