I am telling you about Myself. When this body was a student, I lived in Uravakonda. In that Uravakonda I was studying in the sixth class. It began right then. SSLC: the three of us used to sit at one and the same desk. When I sat in the middle, one sat on that side and one on this side. Ramesh, Suresh. They were utter dullards. Studies would not come to them at all. At exam time they kept begging Me to help them. Sathya! We cannot study properly like you. You must help me somehow. One cannot say no to those who ask. “I will do it,” I said. That very day I had them go over all the answers to the questions that would come in the next day's exams. The exam came. Public Examination. Mine was number six, one boy's number 60, the other's number 600. 6, 60, 600: who knows where each would sit. There was no way to copy what I wrote. They said they would not come to the exam. Then I told them: “It is wrong; having studied all this time, you must settle it in the exam, pass or fail, but turning back is not good,” I said. “Trust Me with full, unshaken faith; I will see to it,” I said. Even if it is a thing that should not be done, there is no wrong in doing good. They gave two hours' time for the exam. I wrote all of Mine in fifteen minutes. They themselves gave out the paper too. I took those papers and wrote it all out. Then I asked for some more papers and got them. On them I wrote in Ramesh's very handwriting. I wrote all the answers. On top I wrote the name Ramesh. For Suresh, I changed to his handwriting and wrote. Writing his name, I kept the three papers right with Me. I told them not to get up until I got up. Two hours were up. They rang the bell. The examiner stays there and watches. “Paper, paper,” they said, coming round to everyone, and everyone got up. Meanwhile I put the three papers on the table. These two got up and came out. No one raised any objection of any kind. Ten days later the results came. All three of us: 1st class.
