In plain words
All Śaktis are contained within Satya. So we must regard that very Satya as our mother. The Mother Goddess. If we forget such a Mother Goddess, what do we gain? We must never forget Satya, which is equal to a mother. To worship the mother means to worship Satya; it means precisely to follow Satya. We must follow Satya. We must speak Satya. We must practise Dharma. Satyaṃ vada: but unfortunately today it is satyaṃ vadha; they are killing it. Dharmaṃ cara. When told to follow Dharma, people now put Dharma in prison. Then who is there to protect? Satya and Dharma alone protect all. These two alone protect everyone. Today people are forgetting such Satya and Dharma. They put their faith in Asatya and adharma. So the country has to suffer hardships it has never suffered before. Our ancients took this Satya and Dharma as their foundation, took the two as their two wings, and lived their lives. Whatever small work they did, they did with the Ātma as witness. They would inquire whether these things were Satya or Asatya, Dharma or adharma, and then take a step forward. Today that very question is not there. People say they are carrying on the search for God. This search for God is not something of today. From time without beginning they have gone on carrying out the search for God. It did not begin yesterday or today.
The Search for Satya
When we follow the search for Satya on the right path, everything takes shape as the form of God. How are we to search for this Satya? Satya is only one, is it not! So we must inquire where it is. Where must we search for it? A small example. You saw a mother, you saw a sister, you saw a daughter, you saw a wife. You see all of them as women. But you think: this one is mother, this one sister, this one daughter, this one a relative. You must see the mother as mother. You must see your own daughter only as your daughter. You must see your own younger sister only as your younger sister. That is where you must inquire. That is exactly what search means. How must you see the mother? We must see her as the form of the mother. You must see her as one to be worshipped.
