In plain words
The whole world is subject to God; God is subject to Satya; that Satya is subject to the noble; the noble one is the supreme God!
Embodiments of Prema!
For generation after generation our land of Bhārata has gone on teaching the boundless spiritual principle to every country in the world. For generation after generation it has trusted the spiritual principle itself as the chief gift for bringing lasting Śānti and security. The people of Bhārata too, with intense Bhakti and surrender, with divine feelings, have gone on striving to gain, in a fresh life, a steadiness that is firm and lasting. But by the influence of time, by the influence of the Kali age, mankind today has no faith in the Ātma; it has developed faith in other things, and people labour in many ways after the spread of a world that is impermanent, transient and Asatya. The faith that beasts, birds and animals have, man today does not have. When a small bird alights on a tender branch, the branch sways this way and that. But even when the tree's branch sways, the bird does not tremble and does not take fright. The reason? The bird has not made the branch its support. Just because it relies on its own wings, however the branch may sway, it does not fall into the least fear or confusion. Though the bird relies on its own wings and trusts them, man today, not trusting his own heart and his own Ātma principle, himself falls into worries of many kinds.
Build Up Your Faith
Man listens to many talks. He studies many books. He listens to the lectures of many elders. As long as they are listening, people nod their heads happily and feel they have taken something in; but not a single person is to be seen who believes it and puts it into practice.
