In plain words

What are they? 5 organs of action, 5 organs of perception, 5 prāṇas, 5 kośas: these make 20. Mind, Buddhi, citta and Ahaṅkāra, these four together, make 24. Where did these 24 come from. They are only what the jīva has imagined, only what the mind has imagined. That is why the jīva who imagined them is the 25th. The day: these are only what I imagined. The day this jīva recognises that this is not real and throws off these 24, that very moment this jīva becomes one with God. That 26th one alone is God. The senses, all of them, are merely 24. The mind alone imagines all the enjoyment of these senses, every bit of it. The mind alone imagines everything. You have gone to bed at night and are asleep. In this sleep a dream comes. In that dream you yourself are there. All your friends are watching a film with you. In the film too, along with the children as well, you went off on a picnic. But inside this dream, what is this picnic? Who are these friends? What is this inert stuff? It sees all these, every one of them, so many scenes. Where did all these come from? The mind alone willed them. The mind alone created them. In that dream he himself sees himself dead: where did this come from. How does this become possible. This too he himself imagined. So only when you put away all that is imagined, every bit of it, does God, who is the witness, appear before you. So what is willed in this way is the jīva-principle. That itself is vibration. This vibration is one with radiation. That itself is Bhūr. This is Bhuvaḥ: vibration, prāṇa. Suvaḥ: radiation, Jñāna. That Jñāna which is radiation is the witness. This is what Vedānta has called ‘Prajñāna is Brahman’. This itself is Advaita. What is it? To give up all that is imagined, and to establish that which is no imagining, which is eternally real: that alone is true Vedānta. Then where is Ānanda? You yourself are Ānanda. Where is Satya? You yourself are Satya. You are the embodiment of Love. You are the embodiment of Peace. You are the embodiment of Truth. You are the embodiment of GOD.
