Each Vedic mantra chanted during the yagna (sacrifice) has a deep inner meaning associated with it. Each mantra is dedicated to a particular deity. Any letter with the address properly mentioned on it can reach the neighboring street or a far away place. The are like the addresses of the deities. When they are chanted with proper intonations, they will yield the desired results.
