In plain words
This change takes three months to come about. In the course of it, some difficulties, joys and troubles too will keep coming about. But after March a steady, pure and sacred time will come. Yet you must not live leaving everything to time. Human effort is essential.
“Bangāru!”
Today the human qualities that should be in man are vanishing altogether. Prema is not to be seen anywhere. No one practises Dharma. How, then, can there be Śānti? Without gold, jewels cannot be made. In the same way, without God neither Satya nor Dharma nor Śānti comes to you. All these come only through God! God is Hiraṇyagarbha; He is like gold. So if you place the gold called God in your heart, with that gold you can have the jewels called Satya, Dharma and Śānti made. Hiraṇyagarbha is in everyone. Keeping just this in view, I, to everyone: ‘Bangāru! Bangāru!’ I keep calling them. You must recognise the truth that God is in everyone. Only when you believe that God is in you will every happiness come to you. If you forget the divinity in the heart and chase after outward results, it is of no use.
The ideal of the Pāṇḍavas
From ancient times Bhārata has been spreading teachings about divinity to all countries and bringing them lasting peace and security. The ancient culture of Bhārata is very sacred; it is divine, grand and ever new. But no one inquires into the principle of such a culture. Even today's students cannot understand this culture. Take the outcome of the Mahābhārata war as an example. The five Pāṇḍavas kept Kṛṣṇa in mind at all times. They gave God the very first place; they gave the world the second place. They put self-interest last of all. They held: First God, Next world, last I. But the Kauravas were not like that.
