The earth is very big but God who is infinite and the subtlest of all, suffuses the entire earth with His divine power. Since the earth has (attributes), it is not independent. As long as exist, one cannot talk of independence. As the attributes diminish one by one, the subtlety of the entity concerned and its vastness increase. Earth has all the qualities of sound, touch, form, taste and smell. It is therefore finite. Moreover, the attributes together produce a binding effect that makes mobility difficult (one cannot move mountains, for example).
