At noon, there would be a break; as soon as the bell rang, would run back home. The distance to be covered was three miles [about four and a half kilometres]. All the boys used to do this, and did the same. On reaching home, would serve food to His grandfather. He would wash the clothes, keep food for the night, and then have His meal. After this, a long run back to the school; this was how life went on for some years.
