Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

For that, first of all you must purify your feeling. The culture of Bhārata taught, “Satyaṃ vada, dharmaṃ cara.” You must speak the truth. It spreads everywhere and purifies the air we breathe. You must love everyone. Because “Īśvaraḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ”: God is in everyone. God is the form of the universe. This Prakṛti is a limb of God. So you must enjoy it in the right way.

The Great Danger Science Is Bringing

Today man, grown selfish, is plundering many resources from the earth: oil, petrol, iron and the like. Not only that. In the sea he is killing several crores of creatures a day. Through this the Ecological Balance is upset, and many upheavals of nature, such as earthquakes, are taking place. Only when we protect the Ecological Balance is humanness fulfilled. But today it has wasted away completely. This is the great danger science is bringing. Science must certainly develop. But it must be of help to society. No one gives any thought to the welfare of society. It is all selfishness, selfishness!

The students of today pursue their studies for selfish ends and their own gain, and scramble after earning money. Through education they increase their Knowledge, but instead of making that Knowledge into Skill they are making it into Kill. That is exactly why their vision turns outward and the inner feeling sinks to the bottom. As a result, they lose the Balance in their lives. You must make Knowledge into Skill. Only then will the inner vision develop and Balance be established in life. In the man of today Balance has become a void. That is exactly why humanness has vanished. Only when Balance comes into life will human values develop.

What Kind of Education Must We Teach?

In ancient times teachers taught their students high values and worked for their progress.
