We must add spiritual values to modern education. Spirituality rests on self-confidence. Only because you believe, “This is my mother,” are you able to love your mother. Only because she believes, “This is my husband,” is the wife able to love her husband. So where there is faith, there is Prema. Where there is Prema, there is Śānti. Where there is Śānti, there is Satya. Where there is Satya, there is Ānanda. Where there is Ānanda, there is God. Only because the man of today has lost his self-confidence is he unable to experience Śānti and Ānanda.
