In plain words

Even so, My radiance has gone on growing. The welfare of the people is the very beauty of the Paramātma.

When you take part in programmes for the people's welfare, great good comes to you. When I walk slowly in the midst of the devotees, some people: “Has Swami hurt His foot, I wonder! Otherwise why is He walking so slowly?” they think. I walk slowly only to give all of you darśan for longer! I have no pain in My legs, no suffering of any kind. I am happy. But from the day the village service began, My joy has been growing day by day. So from now on you too must regard service to the people as dear as life itself. Then divine radiance will shine forth in you too. God is not apart from you. You must not think that God is somewhere, in a temple or in a mosque. You must believe that the body is the temple, and that the jīva dwelling in the body is God Himself. You need not go anywhere to search for God. Develop inner vision. The embodiment of Ānanda will be seen.

You yourselves are embodiments of the Divine. But through attachment to the body you mistake yourselves for human beings. Man becomes God only when he lessens attachment to the body and increases attachment to God. Humanness and divinity are not apart. The two are the object and its reflection! “Satyaṃ jñānam anantaṃ brahma,” it is said. We must enter the path of Satya. That itself is the principle of Brahman. There is no need to go anywhere to know the principle of Brahman. You must regard the body itself as the temple. Then you will experience boundless Ānanda; all powers will enter you. But this does not come so easily. It is attained only through the saṃskāra of birth after birth. Whatever work you do, regard it as God's work. Some people ask, “How can going to the office be God's work?” That too is God's work. For everything is the form of God. “Sarvataḥ pāṇipādaṃ tatsarvatokṣi śiromukham..” So whatever actions you perform, do them in the spirit of pleasing God.
