Passage 1

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

Embodiments of Prema! This whole world is filled with nothing but Prema. The world does not mean merely a material form. The people themselves are the world. All of you are embodiments of Prema. Your Prema alone makes divinity manifest.

In this world Prema flows out in two ways. One is worldly love; the second is Prema joined with the Supreme Principle. Worldly love, love bound up with the body, is mixed with selfishness. Where there is selfishness, there fear arises. But divine Prema is free of selfishness. So divine Prema has no fear of any kind. More than that, divine Prema is for the sake of Prema alone, and not for the sake of anything else. It is “nirguṇaṃ, nirañjanaṃ, sanātanaṃ, niketanaṃ, nitya, śuddha, buddha, mukta, nirmalasvarūpiṇaṃ”; such Prema fills every place. There is no place where God is not. Prema is God, God is Prema. “Prem Īśvar hai, Īśvar prem hai.” Through Prema alone can you become one with the divinity of God. This body was born somewhere far away in Andhra Pradesh; all of you belong to Maharashtra. What is the bond between you and me? Prema alone, Prema alone! You have all gathered here today only because of your Prema for me. Your Prema gives me great joy. Prema is the great power of attraction. This power of attraction fills the whole universe. The “magnet” called Prema is in all of you. No human being without Prema is to be found in this world. Divinity has no separate form of its own. Prema is the very form of God. In God there is no selfishness of any kind. So man must use his love without selfishness. But man spreads his love over the world, over wife and children, over property and possessions.

Worldly love – divine Prema

Worldly love keeps changing from moment to moment. Take a small example of this.
